Yasmina Seveney is an aspiring professional animator and Drexel student. She has experience working in a variety of animation styles, from charcoal, to hand-drawn, to 2D digital, to full 3D animation. When she isn’t drawing and animating for hours on end, she spends her time playing video games, thrifting, and learning the electric guitar. She has been drawing and animating for almost a decade and has had numerous teachers, including professors from RISD and Drexel University. She also specializes in video editing, sound design, and sculpting. She has worked on numerous collaborations with other animators and even created a hand-drawn animated PSA about burnout. She has also worked with some companies, such as CWS Investments, to create graphics for them.
Yasmina has earned several scholarships thanks to her art and was accepted to some of the top animation colleges such as SVA, Ringling, RIT, and more. Yasmina is dedicated to learning everything she can about animation, motion capture, VFX and so much more to someday create her own animations/movies that will inspire the next generation and onward. She is currently a second-year animation major student at Drexel. Alongside the work she is creating at school, she is also working on developing her own 2D/3D animations based on her stories. She hopes to someday work with some of the greatest animation studios, such as Disney and Pixar, or create her own studio. Yasmina Seveney currently resides in Pennsylvania Philadelphia, and can be contacted at yasmina7e (at) gmail (dot) com.
